I am looking for anyone who served in Yokosuka after I left in 1988. I want to find out if those I baptized stayed active. Please visit my site and leave me a comment or leave one here.

Hello,
I'm going to be going to waseda for a year and I'm in search of people who might be able to help me find a place to stay for that time. I'm not very picky other than possibly price. I'd appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks,
Jon. |

Brothers and Sisters,
Please join with me in fasting and mighty prayer on March 7th in behalf of the welfare of the souls of those who know not God in Japan. Please pray that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon them, that they would receive the missionaries and be brought to the knowledge of the truth.
Visit the following link to register your participation and to leave any comments.

Please pass this on to as many returned missionaries/friends/members as you know.
Sincerely,
David van der Leek

For those of you unaware, there is a VERY interesting discussion occuring right now on the Grant's Legacy Group about Convert Baptisms in Japan.
Some of the discussion has touched on the 'Groberg' era missionaries and mission president. It would be great to hear from some of you about your experiences.
Come and visit the group by going to:
Grant's Legacy. See ya there! |

| I'm currently compiling a recipe book for missionaries, featuring recipes from all over the world. Please email me your favorite dish, and tell me the story behind it... given to you by converts, a favorite aunt, even something humorous associated with the recipe. |

| Hi! I'm currently living in Fuji, serving as ward mission leader. After having been here for four years, I'm heading back to the states. I'm looking for anyone interested in taking my job. It's an ALT job at a private high school in Fujinomiya. The bishop teaches here, too. It pays 300,000 yen a month plus two 300,000 bonuses a year. There is also a housing subsidy. I have a new apartment big enough for two that I've only been in for eight months. The only qualifications needed are a bachelor's degree so you can get the appropriate visa. Please contact me for more info. It's a great job! |
